'Time Capsule' Found in Australia



MELBOURNE - A 'time capsule' shaped bottle containing coins, newspapers and memorabilia from the 1800s found in the area of ​​Ballarat, Australia.

"We know that the bottle was there, but not sure yet, because of the time capsule is usually always end up in the hands of thieves. So I think this bottle is hidden pretty well," says archaeologist David Bannear who did the excavation.

Previously the bottle is opened and the contents replaced in 1867 with the latest edition of The Star newspaper, it is seen with a broken glass in the bottle.

However Bannear said if the coin in the bottle is still in good condition. It is estimated that the value of the coin is approximately $ 50 thousand.
