NATO Combat Ship Libya drowned 8

BRUSSELS - NATO fighter aircraft are reported to have sunk eight battleships of the Libyan leader, Muammar Gaddafi, in a midnight attack.

"The vessels are drowned in a coordinated attack in the port of Tripoli, Al Khums, and Sirte," thus described by the allies. As reported by Reuters on Friday (20/05/2011).

"NATO has no other choice to decide what actions to protect civilians and NATO troops that Libya is on the sea," said Admiral Russell Harding, the Deputy Commander of NATO forces in Libya.

"All of the targeted vessel is a warship and not a civilian ownership," Admiral said.

NATO warships chose as a target, either because the ships are a threat to NATO.
