35 Workers Killed attacked Militants Afghanistan


KABUL - 35 construction workers were reportedly killed in Afghanistan was shot by militants. The shootings according to eyewitnesses, took place at random.

Construction company owner Galaxy Sky Noorullah Bidar said the attack occurred around midnight on the day Wednesday, May 18 local time. The incident occurred in Wazei Zadran, a remote area in the mountains of Paktia Province.

According to Bidar, approximately 100 members to take action militant attack that killed 36 workers and injuring 20 others.

As reported by the Associated Press, Thursday (19/05/2011), Paktia province spokesman Rohullah Samon add, other than construction workers killed, the attack also killed eight militants themselves.

Until now, no party is willing to be responsible for the attack. Meanwhile, eyewitnesses saw the perpetrators immediately assailant fled after robbing a truck.
