Bomb explosion in Pakistan, 34 killed

At least 34 people were killed and 94 others seriously injured after two powerful explosions in Pakistan. Two explosions rocked a market in Sadar Peshawar, Pakistan.

As CNN reported, the first explosion occurred at a low explosive toilet restaurant Khyber Super Market. According to Head of Sales Restaurant, Shafqat Malik, the bomb exploded when a visitor was busy on Saturday, June 11, 2011, at around 11:30 local time.

When the first bomb exploded, local residents gathered to see the scene. The first blast was allegedly using a timer or a timer trigger.

After a few minutes, a motorist came to the crowd and blew himself up. This second blast is expected to make the death toll fell.

Muhammad Ejaz Khan, a senior police official in Peshawar, said about the explosives used by suicide bombers is estimated to weigh 10 kilograms.

The location of the explosion is a bonded area consisting of houses, apartments, hotels, and supermarkets. Most who live in this location are the students.

In this incident, two journalists were also killed. One journalist who was killed was Saif Ul Islam Saifi, President of Peshawar Press Club. At the location there are also several media offices.
