Manama - Bahrain does not seem to care about with protests that occurred in his country. In fact, the party confirmed the readiness to hold races in Formula One (F1), this year.
Initially, the Grand Prix of Bahrain become an arena opening for the race car this year. However, the race had to be postponed because of the political situation heats up in Bahrain. Schedule of races in Bahrain was in doubt since the incident.
In fact, a number of parties reportedly hope the FIA do not hold a F1 race in Bahrain this year. Reportedly, has held a meeting Friday to discuss the rescheduling Bagrain GP.
However, CEO of Bahrain International Circuit Zayed Rashid Al Zayani, believes the race will be added sometime in november. "We are in a position to hold a F1 race. The situation in Bahrain has been pretty quiet for now. Life as it is back to normal," commented Al Zayani.
"We are ready to be able to hold the race at all," he said responding to the readiness of Bahrain International Circuit in Manama, held races in F1, as reported by the Gulf Daily News, Thursday (05/02/2011).
