849 Case of Baby Trafficking Found in Spain

MADRID - A Spanish lawyer in the state, prosecutors are now investigating 849 cases of baby trafficking. Newborn baby stolen from her mother's hand and sold.

Candido Conde Pumpido, a lawyer who claimed that 162 cases of baby trafficking will proceed to trial, and 38 other cases have no clear evidence.

"The Spaniards have a suspect stealing a baby," said Candido said, as quoted by the Associated Press on Saturday (18/06/2011).

Baby trafficking cases have occurred in the 1990s. Candido Attorney's Office is now shocked by the rampant cases.
