Sharapova missed a Grand Slam title

Maria Sharapova is targeting a second Wimbledon title in his career. Gorgeous tennis player from Russia was admitted hoping to win the Grand Slam after a long injury.

Since undergoing shoulder surgery in late 2008, Sharapova had a hard time. Even 24-year tennis player at the worst point in her tennis career after slumping to 126 world ranking.

After appearing inconsistently throughout 2010, slowly but surely began to find his best game Sharapova. Armed with a victory at the Rome Masters, the more confident undergo Sharapova Wimbledon 2011, which will commence tomorrow, Monday, June 20, 2011.

"If I could win the Grand Slam after returning from injury, it would mean more than the previous title," Sharapova said as quoted by AP.

"Coming back from injury, you have to start everything from scratch. You have to work hard to compensate for top players. It requires a long process," said Sharapova.

Sharapova won her first Grand Slam title at Wimbledon in 2004 when he was 17 years. Two years later, Sharapova won both the Grand Slam at the U.S. Open, and followed the Australian Open in 2008.
