Stana Katic will soon shake the stage musical.
34-year-old actress who recently starred in the series 'Castle' on ABC, signed a contract to act as a music producer / frontman Goldie & the Gingerbreads, Genya Raven, in 'CBGB', as reported by the Hollywood Reporter.
Also joined the cast (including Alan Rickman as the club CBGB founder Hilly Kristal, and Malin Akerman as the owner of the hair Blondie, Deborah Harry) actors 'Avatar' Joel David Moore, who will play punk rock icon Joey Ramone, reports THR.
Randall Miller will direct the musical, and started filming in late June with the release schedule in 2013.
