PSSI will Facilitation Education National Team Players

Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI) has said it will facilitate the education of a number of national team players Indonesia. PSSI chairman, Djohar Arifin Husin said the plan is intended that the players will then have lunch in the old days after no longer work as a football player.

This is expressed by Djohar on the sidelines of a charity match for the legendary Abdul PSSI "Si Kancil" Kadir in Field C Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday (05/15/2012) afternoon. Charity match was also followed by a number of former national team players, such as Roni Pasla, Saununu Alexander, John Airforce, Sarman Panggabean, Robby Binur, Oyng Lisa, Noah Meriam, Mustafa Umarella, and Elly Idris.

"So it does not happen again, we give opportunities to players to the squad to continue their education to higher education and also received a scholarship from the PSSI cooperation with the University Gunadarma. So, we will encourage them to be college S1, S2, or S3," Djohar clear.

Djohar admitted, as long as it does the lives of the former national team players past many have the same fate as "The Mouse Deer". Therefore, he expects the existence of opportunities for education programs, a number of problems can be minimized.

"We understand, however will not play long ball, and after that they must move on, and it should be feasible. Players who do not prepare a lot of it because I was busy taking care of the ball so forget about education, relationships, and even its future. Therefore, We as a board had an obligation to ensure the life they deserve, "said Djohar.

"So we held a PSSI of opportunities to help the former national team players, as well as national team players who are still active, whose lives are less fortunate, in order to obtain eligibility in old age," he added.

Abdul Kadir is one of the national football legend concerning the conditions of his life after retiring from football.
