Iran Develop New Nuclear Submarine.

Iran continues to announce it will continue the modernization of their submarine fleet. Recent statements from the Iranian side said they were starting to develop a nuclear-powered submarines.

Although the nuclear submarine project is unclear, but one that is certain is the existence of Ghadir submarine. Currently, there are approximately 19 diesel-powered submarine was operating.

Iran also has a submarine project Nahang shown to replace the operation of Ghadir. However, Nahang which weighs 400 tons, has not shown any significant development. Nuclear submarine is practical only in the dock for six years to continue to be improved.

While the submarine weighing 1,000 tons Qaem also has not shown progress. The submarine is being developed over the past five years, but has not been completed. But Qaem is not a mini submarine. These submarines can only be operated in deep water.

The problem now is, known as the Persian Gulf waters shallower waters. Operate Qaem can certainly cause more easily detected by the enemy. To that end, do not be surprised if Iran operates the submarine entity outside the Persian Gulf besa.

Large submarine is owned by three submarines Iran purchased from Russia. The submarine was known to have weighed less than 2,300 tons.

The whole development of Iran in submarine technology to the United States (U.S.) to develop tools and techniques for detecting submarines either small or large size. The U.S. certainly would not issue them to do experiments to detect a small submarine. It certainly would be stored in the event of war.
