Liberation War of Damascus Proclaimed.

Syrian opposition forces (FSA) proclaimed "war of liberation of Damascus." They also claim to have shot down a helicopter gunship the troops belong to President Bashar al-Assad.

The roar of machine guns began to be heard in the city of Damascus, precisely in Sabaa Bahrat Square, an area used by residents of President Assad loyalists staged a demonstration. Approximately 19 people were killed in the attack on the District Qaboon, right after the helicopters and tanks were deployed.

FSA spokesman Colonel Kasseem Saadeddine said, victory is in sight and the struggle will begin after the town in Syrian-controlled government. Since Sunday last week, the FSA also began a major escalation of attacks by troops against Assad.

"We transfer the war from Syria to the capital city Provnsi Syria. We have a clear plan for the control of Damascus, we only have small arms but this is enough for us,

Assad's regime also vowed, would not give up so easily in the war. They would never let the city of Damascus fell into the hands of the opposition.
