New York Mayor Urges Trump Forget Obama Birth

New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg asked Donald Trump to stop raising the issue of "birth" and focus on other important issues.

Entrepreneur Trump became famous for raising the birth of conspiracy theories that questioned whether Obama was born in the U.S..

According to the New York Daily News, Bloomberg said that "an icon of New York" and his colleagues in the Republican Party needs to leave the issue of "birth" and focus on key issues.

"Look, anyone can run for president if it was 35 years old, is an American citizen and was born here," said Bloomberg, adding that Obama was born in the U.S..

"I think Republicans make a bad mistake by making this a big problem," he said.

"We have immigration. We have a deficit. We have an economy. It is the things that cares about the community," said Bloomberg.

Bloomberg said that back and forth between Democrats and Republicans is a good show, but the U.S. could not bear it any longer.

"The American public is smart enough to understand it. Let's focus on major issues," he said.

U.S. businessman Donald Trump has been accused of discrediting the Republican Party. The reason, the words that Trump who called Barack Obama's birth certificate may say that he is a Muslim.
