Two Malignant Malware Attacks Android

Recently discovered two more malware that attacks users of Android-based phones. The first is a variant of Light DroidDream who previously had attacked no less than 120,000 mobile phone users Android platform.

The second is known as Zitmo. The attack was reported to be more serious Zitmo, this malware capable of stealing bank passwords and password to transact with the unwitting owner. At least 5000 Android phone already infected malware.

According to the blog Lookout, corporate antivirus products that find both the malware, DroidDream Light was found stuck in some applications that exist on the official Android Market: Quick Falldown, Scientific Calculator, Bubble Buster and a clone of the Best Compass & leveler. The fourth application is considered feasible and is submitted to the Market by Mobnet.

Light DroidDream able to do the work in the backgroud without the phone owner's knowledge. This malware also frequently downloading their own software that could have been approved by the mobile phone user without realizing the risks. Serious threat of malware can even damage the handset itself.

Meanwhile, malware Zitmo can not damage the handset but also malware which attacks the Windows Mobile and Symbian is tasked to steal bank information from users and malware Android phone is connected to a PC and Android phones. Once the user accesses his bank's website, malware Android is immediately working with recording or SMS message code or password that gives the bank and conduct transactions on behalf of the owner's bank account without them knowing it.

The existence of many malware threats in the Android application is triggering the Google Android mobile phone users urged to apply strict criteria in approving the applications included in the Android Market. At least Google should learn from Apple in this regard. Evidenced by the selection system on Apple's application of strict, seldom or almost no malware that attacks the user's iPhone or iPad.

However, because of the many applications provider for users of Android from a third party outside of the Android Market, the threat to Android phone users against malware is getting worse. However, at least if Google is more stringent criteria for improving security and tightening approval of his application at the Market, the Android mobile phone users is a bit safer.

Sony MiniDisc Walkman Goodbye

Sony will stop production of MiniDisc Walkman devices starting September 2011, according to the Nikkei quoted CNet, Tuesday (12/07/2011).

Introduced first in 1991, MiniDisc is an optical storage formats in combination with CD sound quality with the ability to record from cassette.

Although relatively expensive compared to portable CD players, Sony sold more than 22 million devices MiniDisc from 1991 until March 2011.

The emergence of a media player with built-in storage, especially the iPod, portable music players that use removable storage, making Sony products are hit.

Walkman with a cassette tape has long been retired since last year, so the news MiniDisc player cessation of production is no longer surprising.

Sony MiniDisc portable produced last are the MZ-RH1. But do not worry, Sony will continue to make MiniDisc with the support of a more sophisticated stereo system.

NASA Adds One Day to Atlantis Final Space Mission

WASHINGTON - NASA on Monday added one extra day to the final mission of the shuttle Atlantis to the International Space Station, bringing the trip to a total of 13 days, a spokesman said.

Engineers also completed a review of the shuttle’s heat shield and determined there was no major damage, said deputy space shuttle program manager LeRoy Cain.

The damage assessment team, which reviews the shuttle exterior for potential problems incurred during flight, “only had a total of five items on the orbiter to review,” Cain said, describing those items as “very, very minor.”

“There will be no focused inspection needed so that is really good news.” After a mission management meeting, NASA unanimously approved the addition of an extra day to the mission, said Cain.

“We are currently at 13 days,” he said, adding the crew would be kept busy unloading more than five tons of supplies from the shuttle to the lab.

“There is a lot of good work that we can help this space station program with.” Atlantis and its four-member crew are now scheduled to return to Earth on July 21, marking the official end of the US space shuttle program after 30 years.

By Health, Better Mobile Prohibited at School

LONDON - A study by the European committee recommends that mobile phone use should be limited in schools and its use is limited by the children, is to prevent the potential serious health crises such as asbestos, leaded gasoline or tobacco.

Committee of the Council of Europe has held numerous meetings with industry organizations and health and make recommendations in the report, that although not binding, will be influential in setting the regulatory rules in the future.

In general, the report recommends that the industry takes all reasonable steps to reduce exposure to electromagnetic fields, especially for children. So that was reported by Cellular News, Sunday (15/05/2011).

It also called for awareness information campaign to explain what he said was potentially harmful biological effects of long-term environmental and human health, particularly targeting children, adolescents and young people of reproductive age.

They specifically propose banning all cell phones and Wi-Fi system from the classroom and school, as recommended by some local governments, medical associations and civil society organizations.

The report acknowledges that there is a dispute about the nature of the health effects of mobile phones, especially comparing the change in heating of the alleged warming direct DNA damage from radio emissions.

They concluded that although there is sufficient evidence of potential harmful effects of electromagnetic fields on the fauna, flora and human health to react and to guard against environmental hazards and health seriously.

X47-B, Plane Without a Crew Demon Of U.S. Tech

One action figure in a film often makes many people in the world inspired to pour in the form of his works.

Only six years ago after serving a movie Stealth, a Northrop Grumman company recently rumored to have successfully developed a robot type unmanned stealth fighter plane the world's first named, Jet X47-B.

United States (U.S.) is famous keen to develop military technology. Jet X-47b is designed for the U.S. Navy. In test flights, this sophisticated bombers were in the air for 29 minutes and reached an altitude of 5000 feet.

Innards of this aircraft thick with robotics technology because it does not require pilots to operate them. Indeed, previous existing aircraft with similar technologies such as Predator or Reaper.

However, X-47 B-level is more advanced because it can not be detected radar and capable of flying much faster, top speed stealth aircraft is "High subsonic."

Robotic unmanned jet has a range and greater power to perform the action takes off from an aircraft carrier, equipped with laser-controlled bomb ammunition and capable of performing refueling in the air.

Both wings of the aircraft-like wings of bats has long 62.1 feet (18.9280 meters), the maximum charged 4500 pounds (2 tons more), equipped with a number of sensor systems and a range of more than 2100 nautical miles (3379.6224 km). Even more great again, robot fighter jet can be controlled remotely (remote) or further programmed for purposes of a particular mission.

Equipped with the ability to fly more than 40,000 feet, or about 12,192 feet, this robot can be used as spy planes or aircraft reconnaissance for intelligence missions, precision attack and detect ballistic missiles exists.

Proper test flight that has lasted more than a year is an initial step to demonstrate the latest figure from robot type stealth fighter jet of the first in the world. And calibaration have calibaration was reportedly found a new type of robot will be used for military purposes in 2013 that will come.

"Today we got a glimpse of the future when an unmanned jet Navy has flown into space," said Capt. Jaime Engdahl, programming manager of the X-47b.

Developed since 2007, the cost of manufacture of X-47b to reach 395 million pounds. It can be programmed to fly itself to the target set to a distance of thousands of miles. Computers in them is said to be able to control the takeoff, landing and refueling in the air.

"We made a breakthrough by developing the first unmanned jet that could take off and land on the flight deck (on board)," claims Bill Shannon, Real Admiral Navy officials who reported dailymail.

In addition to this type of X-47b, there are reportedly still unmanned combat air vehicles that will soon follow the other tested the stealth fighter's Taranis unmanned England. And reportedly will also be tested this in 2011.
